Prof. Dr. Xiaojuan Ma was born in the Province of Shaanxi, P.R. China. After successfully completing her law studies in 1995, she worked for 2 years as a "Key Accountant Manager for Sales" for ZhongXing Telecom Co.(ZTE) in Shenzhen (Guangdong), P.R. China. She was responsible for the organisation and management of events for key accounts as well as the coordination of sales. In 1995 Prof. Xiajouan Ma was awareded "Best Employee". |
In 1997 Prof. Ma returned to university and started her second academic studies in Oldenburg, Germany. She passed her intermediate diploma in business studies exceptionally well and was awarded the prize for extraordinary achievements. While spending an academic year at the University of Wisconsin, USA, she focussed on "International Management and Marketing". Prof. Ma received her Master in business studies by the University of Munich and her second Master degree in "Digital Technology and Management" by the Technical University of Munich. She recieved her Ph.D. in Organization Behavior writing her thesis about "Motivation Management in the Chinese Context." |
| Prof. Ma worked together with well-known companies like Daimler, Siemens, Volkswagen, ZTE and other firms to improve their Human Resource Strategy in China. Besides these companies, she also worked as a China-Consultant for ILF Consulting Engineers and spent a year in Kazakhstan. |
